And those that were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.

FRIEDRICK NIETZCHE

As a fine art film wedding photographer with 10 years of experience, I have become known for my ability to document weddings with a classic, yet organic, aesthetic and relaxed approach. I believe in capturing the honesty and authenticity of connections. By drawing inspiration from this and my passion for natural light and beautiful scenery, I am able to capture timeless images that reflect who you are and that become cherished memories.

Rebecca’s photographs have been featured in many of the top blog and print publications, including Style Me Pretty, The Knot, Wedding Sparrow, Green Wedding Shoes, Magnolia Rouge, Wedding Chicks, Ruffled, Elizabeth Anne Designs, Grey Likes Weddings, Mingle Magazine, Rocky Mountain Bride magazine and many more.

Rebecca was absolutely incredible. My engagement and wedding experience would not have been the same without her. She made my husband and I feel very relaxed during our photos, and it allowed our love to shine through. We had so much fun taking the photos, and we truly enjoyed the intimate, romantic setting that Rebecca created for us. Rebecca was so easy to work with and incredibly flexible about everything. She made us feel special and appreciated, and I could tell she really wanted to make the most of our day. She has such a great eye – she is excellent at styling and making the most of the couple’s best features to create gorgeous photos. I could not have a higher opinion of Rebecca. I made a wonderful friend in her, and I truly appreciated everything she did for us. My wedding would not have been the same without her, and I’m so glad I have the amazing photos she took for us to remember the entire experience.

Rebecca was the first thing we booked for the wedding, and hands down the best thing. She not only captured our day perfectly, but also the feel that we wanted as a couple. She got to know who we were and what were all about well before the big day (even with us being in NYC) and then served as an anchor for us throughout the wedding. She never missed a beat; even with all 40+ family members, an impromptu thunder storm, and then a gorgeous sunset.

INFORMATION

answers to common questions

myself & my assistant photographer will photograph your wedding the assistant photographer assists with multiple aspects to help the wedding day run smoothly. Having my assistant photographer along generally means that an additional photographer is not necessary.

how much coverage is needed the needs for each wedding are very different. Typically, a more traditional wedding requires 8 hours or more. I am happy to further discuss this during our pre-booking chat.

why film? film translates my art in the way I intend it to be seen and felt. Film is a high quality product and requires an excellence in craft. It is romantic, true to color, holds light beautifully and creates natural skin tones.

the final product from film after the film is developed, it will be digitally scanned by my photo lab. This allows me to provide you with digital files, your private online gallery, edits and more.

my equipment I have many cameras and equipment to be able to respond to various environments and lighting situations. The camera I use 90% of the time is the Contax 645 medium-format film camera. The other 10% of the time I use another type of medium-format film camera, 35mm film cameras or a digital camera for extreme lowlight situations.

There was a focus on the fall foliage of Montana and the wind that was sweeping through in the telling of the story of Rebecca & George’s wedding day. Each wedding is unique, in this case there was no dancing. passcode: RHP2017

Sarah & Will’s engagement session was on a beautiful & windy Montana day in Glacier National Park. passcode: RHP2017

full resolution images for personal use with a print rights release. You will be emailed a link to access your online viewing gallery where the full resolution images will be available for download. A USB will also be mailed with these files after the wedding.

number of images I believe in quality over quantity, therefore an 8 hour wedding can expect to receive around 600 images or more.

albums & prints I offer high quality, handmade, fine art albums and prints. Albums can be added to any package or are available anytime after your wedding – please see more information about albums & prints here. Fine art prints are available to order through your online gallery should you wish.

booking process wedding dates are held with a 50% non-refundable retainer and signed agreement. Final payment is due 2 weeks prior to the wedding. Payments can be made with check or credit card. Your date cannot be held without this.

turnaround time the private online gallery will be available to you approximately 4 weeks after your wedding.

There are so many wonderful things we could say about Rebecca and her work. While her beautiful film photography was what hooked us, it was her laid-back style, organization and friendly and helpful attitude that gained our trust and kept us satisfied. Rebecca is so easy to work with: she is great at being flexible, being available and answering many questions throughout the process. She was a delight to work with. Taking the photographs was one of the things we felt most nervous about, but she made everything so relaxing and easy and was able to capture beautiful private moments between us on our big day. Ultimately, everything Rebecca was involved in turned out perfect and I would recommend her time and time again to anyone!
